Hoop Pine

Araucaria cunninghamii

Hoop Pines can be found in tropical and sub-tropical rainforests and urban areas.

This species of pine is very adaptable, but ideally it likes damp rainforest settings. In the right conditions Hoop Pines can live for up to four-hundred and fifty years.

Hoop Pines, like most conifers are an evergreen with dark green foliage and branches splaying out in a hoop pattern, with a rough, dark brown trunk.
